What is diamond clarity?
Clarity is an assessment of the internal presence of inclusions (birthmarks) and the external visibility of imperfections.
These characteristics make each diamond individual and unique. The fewer inclusions a diamond has, the rarer and more valuable it is.
How is diamond clarity graded?
To determine a diamond's clarity grading, it must be examined under 10x magnification by an experienced eye.
Small inclusions make each diamond unique and are nature's fingerprints. They generally do not detract from the beauty of the diamond or compromise its durability.
